Family of Recovery Resources

Most of us addicts who are familiar with recovery meetings are also familiar with speaker meetings.  There are an abundance of speaker meetings out there for AA, NA, SA, and the list goes on and on.  The Reco12 Speaker Meeting Podcast attempts to bring all humans together to recognize that addiction is pretty much the same - no matter what the substance, behavior or compulsion may be.  We invite recovering addicts of all kinds, of all backgrounds, and of all beliefs - as well as the loved ones of addicts - to a live webinar that is recorded and released in podcast format. 

 

Other ways that the Reco12 Speaker Meeting Podcast is different than others are as follows:

• Live webinar speaker meetings will be held every Friday at 10:00 am pacific time on a Zoom webinar and will last no more than 1 hour.  

• Audio of these meetings are recorded and uploaded in podcast format the next day, you can find and subscribe to this podcast here.  

• To attend these live webinars and to be able to ask questions of the guest speaker, you must get on our invite list.  Being on this list means that you will receive one or two emails sent out each week which shares the unique link for the next meeting as well as some details on the speaker for the next meeting.  To get invited to attend, click here.

• Anonymity and Confidentiality are vital to these meetings.  Remember the AA saying:  "Who you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here."  

• All guest speakers have a minimum of 1 year sobriety AND are actively working the Steps of recovery in the fellowship of their choice.

• Guest speakers will speak for about 25 minutes sharing their experience, strength and hope on a topic of recovery that resonates with them.

• Guest speakers will then be available for a Q and A of about 25 minutes with questions asked by the live webinar audience, through the host.  If you wish to be considered as a guest speaker, click here.
